Real Brides-Rachel
August 22, 2015
Married in January 2015, Rachel and Eric opted for a large-scale traditional Jewish Wedding, with a beautiful designed romantic edge. Over the course of 9 months, with the help of close friends and family, the couple meticulously planned the perfect nuptials, always choosing to stay true to who they are.
Anyone who knows Rachel will immediately tell you that she loves colors, but her favorite hue is most definitely pink! However, her Husband has always loved green so they unabashedly chose pink and green for their wedding colors and sought to pick the perfect shades and design details emblematic of their tastes and relationship as a couple.
Choosing favors, however, proved to be a difficult task. With the advice of a wise old friend, Rachel decided to provide her male guests with custom pink and green kippahs, with the Groom sporting a green one of course. A kippah is a Jewish head covering traditionally worn by males, while women often wear doilies or some other type of head covering instead. Providing kippah's to your guests is not only practical, but also a very unique way to give them a thank you gift. Visit our Culturally Inspired & Religious section of AnneMarie Wedding Favors!
In addition to her favor choices, we asked Rachel to give our Brides some advice on how to manage the sometimes hectic climax leading up to the big day. She left our Brides-to-Be with these words of wisdom from someone newly married: "If you need help, you know who you want to do things. The best thing I did for this Wedding was I prayed about it and got a best friend from college to serve as the quasi-wedding coordinator. She served as a buffer between me and the endless questions, making everything run smoothly on the big day! I would not have changed a thing!"
