Embrace The Whimsical
August 8, 2016
Fall weddings are quite fanciful and famous for vibrant color patterns that compliment the changing leaves. Yet, Brides frequently wonder how to reflect the beautiful colors outside without looking cheap, cheesy, or just plain predictable. Well, the best way to incorporate the season is to embrace the whimsical nature of fall weddings by bringing the authentic outdoors inside.
This can be done in a number of creative ways! Some examples include having your Bridesmaids wearing alluring fur (or faux fur) scarfs for your photos amongst a scenic backdrop; adorning your reception tables with real leaves; filling out your centerpieces with authentic branches; incorporating lanterns and using wildflowers in your bouquet, to name a few. Local fresh fruit and vegetables are also a beautiful way to bring more life to your ceremony and reception. For instance, a wheel barrel filled with ripened apples, squash, pumpkins, and hay is a beautifully creative way to take something that is traditionally outside and use it inside as part of the decor.
For an added touch of glamour, treat your guests to a seasonal wine and sangria tasting during the cocktail hour, led by a knowledgeable Sommelier. And if wine isn't your thing, why not wow everyone with your taste in craft beer? Whatever you choose, just remember to incorporate fall touches that truly represent you and your Spouse-to-be!
